Since this is my first time to go to America , everything is quiet a challenge for me. Living in a completely different country, speaking a different language, communicating with people from different countries have left me a deep impression. The course I studied there called Peace and Conflict which aimed at solving the conflict and finding the mediation for the problem. With the help of the patient professor and the warmhearted classmates, I overcame many difficulties and gained a lot everyday, which would reflect on my daily journal.. I recorded my course experience everyday in the terms of daily journal , which I think is a good way to recall what I learned today and help me to think more about the course into my life. One of my unforgettable experience is the journey to the Big C mountaion, we chose the wrong way to climb and I was frightened in the half way. Fortunately, with the help of the local student, I got to the safe place without getting any hurt. The frightening experience reminded me of the experience of military training at ShanghaiTech, in which we were taught how to survive the danger. What could be learnt from my unfotgettable experience is that besides doing well in study , we must also have a healthy body and a strong will to overcome any kinds of troubles in our life.
